Dia recently returned to India after a six-year stint in the US, where she worked as a product and data analyst in the Ed-tech industry, following her undergraduate degree. During her time as a product and data analyst in the Ed-tech space, Dia utilized data-driven insights to enhance educational experiences from pre-K to second grade children. She worked as head of QA for the development of innovative learning products, user behavior to optimize engagement and improve educational outcomes through STEM interactions with students.
In 2014, Dia had the opportunity to work with a non-profit organization called Swades, headed by Zarina Screwvala. During her four-month stay in Khamgaon, a small village in the Raigad District of Maharashtra, she dedicated her time to teaching English and socio-emotional skills to women and children. Dia collaborated with the Swades team to assist Aanganwadi teachers in understanding how toys aid in the development of tactile and motor abilities in preschool children. She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Cognitive Psychology from Franklin and Marshall College. And she's PADI Deep-Sea Certified!
