Pahulmeet Singh

Pahulmeet Singh is a passionate educator, farmer, and social entrepreneur who is leading two schools in Punjab and is an Americorps Fellow at Washington DC. He studied Political Economy at UC Berkeley with a concentration on Globalization and Poverty in India. Pahulmeet returned to Punjab in 2018 and engaged with at-risk youth through chess, badminton, after-school tutoring, and eventually through two schools near his village.

Pahulmeet hopes to build a school where students and educators can depart from the anachronistic theory and praxis of education to learn 21st century skills and values relevant to the future so that they can be content lifelong learners and doers.
