Mandar Kulkarni

Mandar leads a team of 9 people at his tech based social enterprise – Driya Interactive, which he started in 2014. Through Driya, he has been working in rural, tribal & urban educational fields for the past 9 years and has helped many schools & NGOs through meaningful & ethical intervention of technology. He has also made some educational films, documentaries & short fiction films along with his wife Mayura who is a filmmaker.

Mandar envisions a school which will help children to be original thinkers in the post-truth world of AI. The locally rooted & globally relevant pedagogy of the school will help them get deeper understanding of the world and find inter-connections across disciplines to prepare them for the uncertain future of professions.
